About the Trip

Tell Us Some of Your Favorite Activities and Experiences.

Coming from NYC, we wanted to walk as much as possible – we walked all around the Historic District, down to the water to see the Pineapple fountain, and throughout campus. We spent one day at Sullivan’s Island basking in the sun and took a long beach walk. We knew Charleston was a city rich in history so since we couldn’t make the trek up to Magnolia Plantation, we went to Boone Hall Plantation for the day. Of course, we had to dedicate a day to shopping on King Street.

What Were Some of Your Favorite Bars/Restaurants That You Visited?

As the massive foodies that we are, we had to make food our highlight of the trip. Between Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit, The Darling, Husk, Leon’s, and The Ordinary, we were so full, yet so happy. We had ourselves a NIGHT at Republic obviously so we could dance all night long. We enjoyed amazing cocktails at Little Palm Bar and Citrus Club.

Are There Any Businesses You Would Like to Highlight? Someone that Really Made Your Vacation Truly Outstanding?

The staff and the overall stay at Hotel Bella Grace were beyond wonderful. Honestly, we were shocked on this trip that every single night for dinner, our servers were absolutely incredible. They were knowledgeable, so friendly, and never hesitated to give us recommendations or tell us about the stand-out items on the menu. Being the big ice cream gals that we are, we went to Jeni’s Ice Cream 3 out of the 5 nights we were there and we made friends with one of the guys!

If You Were to Return to Charleston, Is There Somewhere You Might Like to Visit That You Didn't Get a Chance to During This Trip?
