We absolutely loved walking around and exploring the city. Everything was walkable in the downtown area with so many historic homes and beautiful architecture to see. We really enjoyed trying all (and I mean ALL) the seafood joints. We also visited Shem Creek, as well as Sullivan’s Island.
What Were Some of Your Favorite Bars/Restaurants That You Visited?
There are too many to pick from, but my list of favorites, if I have to pick, are:
- Uptown Social (Bodega Breakfast)
- The Roof Top Bar at the Vendue
- Coast Bar & Grill
- The Big Bad Breakfast (HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CHICKEN SANDWICH)
- The Griffon
- Poe’s Tavern on Sullivan’s Island

Charleston BeerWorks was absolutely amazing! We asked every server we had what their favorite activity/bar/restaurant in the City was! The Manager at BeerWorks really took us under his wing and gave us several must-dos. He gave us a round of drinks and really went above and beyond welcoming us to Charleston 🙂
