A Deeper Dive

Why Did You Choose to Open in Charleston?

We were already integrated into the small business community through our full time jobs. When the opportunity presented itself to create a business that creates an Easy-to-cook option for busy families and business people all while increasing access to Korean food and sharing my story of adoption, it was a no-brainer!

Who is Your Typical Client?

Busy families. Business professionals. It’s truly anyone who wants to have an easy dinner option in the freezer.

Tell Us Anything Else About Your Business That Our Visitors Might Like to Know.

Our website lists delivery for the following week but we can typically accommodate last minute orders and deliver to the greater Charleston area OR The Veggie Bin on Spring St is stocked with all 3 of our signature flavors.

Just for Fun!

Tell Us Your Favorite Thing(s) to Do in Charleston.

We’re very casual people — love a good brewery with a fellow pop-up-er, walking or biking around downtown, or enjoying coffee at nearby shops like Sightsee and Babas!

Where is Your Favorite Place to Eat/Drink in Charleston?

We’re partial but we LOVE the pop-up community. It takes so much – time, organization, persistence, gumption to build a brand and we have so much respect for that. We also love the aperol spritz at Babas and scoops from Off Track! How do you pick just one?

What’s the Craziest Experience You’ve Had with a Client?

Technically, this was a client experience. We cooked up about 100 dumps backstage during the Dave Chappelle show in January 2020 and not only did we meet him but also briefly interacted with Bill Murray. This event was also where we met James and Candice who own Island Provisions and we had a pop-up there in May of this year!

Where’s Your Favorite Place to Travel Outside of Charleston?

We love going to our cabin up in the Lake Lure area of North Carolina. It’s the perfect balance to living in Charleston.
